PrintMail’s Newtown Location Provides Fresh Produce to the Homeless
The Newtown location employees have been for a number of years now growing a rather large vegetable garden on the office grounds.
This year the Company decided to offer the surplus of healthy produce to two local food banks that can benefit from fresh food items in their efforts to feed the under privileged and homeless. Over ten (10) employees dedicated time after hours on Thursday August 25th to pick and package the product for delivery. And Newtown’s Chaplain LifeGUIDE made the donation delivery.
In response to the 187 lbs of vegetables PrintMail’s Newtown facility donated, we received this thank you letter from the Emergency Relief Association of Lower Bucks County:
Donations will benefit:
- Mary’s Cupboard; Emergency food bank operating out of St. Mike’s in Levittown.
- ERA Food Pantry; off Woodbourne Road., also in Levittown.
Thank you to everyone who has worked the garden this season. Special thanks to Gretchen Renaud our VP of Ops who leads us in this process with her expertise. We are thrilled the efforts are going to benefit individuals in need within our community.
PrintMail Employees Serve God by Serving Others
In April 2016 PrintMail employees embraced Serving God by serving others with our phenomenal outpouring of generosity during our April ministry program. The representatives of Bethanna foster care services sent us a great “Thank you” for our outpouring of generosity and support. They provided the attached picture showing the donations arriving to the foster program organizers and they wanted to make sure we communicated back to everyone that the items will have a substantial impact on the children they service.
PrintMail also donated 500 insulated bags to be shipped to Haiti for a Medical Missions trip. The bags are used to distribute clothes, medicine, rice and beans to patients visiting the clinic, hospital and seen at the various orphanages. As a result of the hurricane, the need for food distribution, as well as clean water, escalated significantly. The team on the ground in Haiti is very grateful for the generous donation of the very useful bags. PrintMail has generously sent bags supporting this trip for 3 years running.
Over the 2016 holidays PrintMail employees also participated in Operation Christmas Child, an annual campaign of the international relief organization Samaritan’s Purse.
Employees graciously filled up shoe boxes with toys, supplies, and hygiene products that will be shipped to children in need around the world. In total, PrintMail employees from all four locations donated 61 boxes for Operation Christmas Child!
PrintMail Offers Conference Attendees a Chance to Give Back
PrintMail is often attending user group conferences and trades shows for the banking industry throughout the year. At each of these events our team now offers attendees a chance to enter a drawing for a TisBest gift card which allows them to donate to a charity of their choosing. The response to these drawings has been tremendously positive:
Thank you for the door prize Charity Gift Card I won at the Jack Henry user conference. What a great idea!
Thank you PrintMail for drawing my name at the Bankers Technology showcase. What a wonderful idea to allow me to send money to a charity. I choose Reading is Fundamental. I am a lifelong reader and an active member of my local library board. I truly believe if a child is allowed the opportunity to love reading they can learn anything and become whatever their hearts desire. The love of reading is the most important skill a person can have. Thank you again.
Thank you for this wonderful gift idea.
I appreciate the schools in my area supporting the Boys and Girls Club of America. My daughter, has been involved in the club for a several years now. She has truly enjoyed it and has benefited from this charity. Thank you PrintMail for giving this gift at the VA Bankers Conference!
